What kind of materials can be used to make different watch components? Which are often used?

① Watch Case

Below picture will help to have a clear idea about the materials that can be used to make watch cases.

Luxury watches usually use gold, sapphire, stainless steel, bronze, titanium, carbon fiber. Fashion or gift watches usually use stainless steel, zinc alloy, silicone and plastic.

In all of these materials, stainless steel and zinc alloy are mostly used.

Luxury watches usually use gold, solid stainless steel, ceramic, high quality genuine leather. Fashion or gift watches usually use mesh stainless steel, zinc alloy, silicone, nylon or PU leather.

In all of these materials, stainless steel and leather are mostly used.
